Everybody's walking -- why not you? More people in the US are walking for exercise according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's "Vital Signs: Walking Among Adults -- United States, 2005 and 2010." Walking increased 6.3% in those five years, to 62% of respondents, and increased across all age levels and demographics. Not only are 110 million Americans walking for exercise, but those who walk are more likely to get the recommended amount of exercise per week.
