Patrick Leahy Email Privacy Law Disaster H.R. 2471 | GAULITICS
Sen. Leahy seems to have forgotten that despite being from Vermont he was still part of America. His nearly treasonous idea was to add to a substitute for Senate Bill H.R. 2471 an amendment which would permit over 22 government agencies the power to access email accounts without warrants or the involvement of a Judge. No Warrants? No Judge? Just a simple subpoena....that's all.
