Six months ago I switched to a pair Brooks Glycerin shoes as my half marathon training shoe. I checked the sole before deciding whether to wear them on the half marathon last week. Wow! They got me through a half marathon three weeks ago just fine, but look at that big amount of wear in the toe compared to a new pair I have ready to use. I switched to the newer pair which I've worn on six to nine mile walks for the past month and I finished the half marathon feeling great and with no blisters.
