National Heat Awareness Day to be observed Friday; 200+ heat deaths in 2011
The country is quickly approaching that time of year when the heat begins to become intense and dangerous as summer nears and to help everyone prepare, the National Weather Service (NWS) has declared this Friday, National Heat Awareness Day.
