Drop the Sudoku Puzzle and Get Walking for Aging Brain Health

Senior WalkersDrat, I thought I could use brain health as my excuse for my addiction to Sudoku and other puzzles. No, a study of people in their 70's found that walking several times a week and other physical activity is what kept their brain young. Engaging in mentally and socially stimulating activities didn't show any effect. At least for the Scottish 73-year olds in the study, "I would walk 500 miles" is the right tune to prevent brain shrinkage.
